Executive Coaching

At Potentials, we get it; the role of an executive can be overwhelming. A Potentials coach will come alongside you, helping you to prioritize, clarify goals, chart a course and/or transform conflict. We help you reclaim and harness the energy and drive that led you to the work in which you are engaged, and help you find new ways to focus on what success means for your organization and for you.

Make no mistake, you drive this process. We work with your goals, mapping a way towards accomplishing them. More than just accomplishment, we expect you will come away with a deep sense of satisfaction and renewed confidence – and even fun – in doing your work in new ways. In most cases, executive coaching sessions take place two or three times a month.

Organizational Coaching

The team at Potentials sees our work as organizational coaches as unique within the larger field of organizational consulting and engagement. Distinct from consulting, we engage in this work through the development of collective goals and measures of success. While we work to help organizational leaders achieve these goals, coaching simultaneously supports deepening working relationships, improving communications, and celebrating the diversities of communities in their efforts to advance organizational missions. At times, organizational coaching may involve any of the following activities: community identity clarification; conflict transformation; operational restructuring; and strategic engagement/planning.

Customized Coaching

While we work to anticipate a wide variety of coaching needs and contexts, we know that unique situations arise that may benefit from our services. In a customized package, we tailor what we offer and how we offer it best suit the needs of the client(s).

For example, a team may need to connect episodically as they work to implement a new strategic plan. A couple may seek relational coaching. A teenager may seek coaching as they work to discern a career path to explore, or what college they will attend. Leaders of two different congregations may seek coaching as their communities explore consolidation.

These examples are meant to stir your imagination: what kind of coaching makes sense to you, and how can Potentials support you towards discerning where you are headed and what it might take to get there?
